Permanent Eyeshadow – Everything You Need To Know

Permanent eyeshadow is perhaps the most artistic practice of permanent eye makeup. Beautiful, natural-looking, multi-dimensional looks can be created to look just like natural eyeshadow. What makes permanent eyeshadow so fabulous is that, like other permanent makeup procedures, it cuts down on makeup application time, stays fresh and crisp looking day and night, and never smears or wears off. It’s waterproof, smudge-proof, and cry-proof – who doesn’t love that?

This highly advanced Permanent Makeup technique uses specialized patented needles and multiple shades of pigment to create a beautiful, natural eyelid enhancement. We use the latest state-of-the-art equipment and highest-grade pigments for all of our procedures. This ensures you receive the best-looking and longest-lasting permanent makeup results. We also offer endless pigment colors to choose from for your shadow, or we can create custom colors to design the perfect look for you!

Things to keep in mind before getting permanent eyeshadow.

There are more and more permanent makeup “technicians” popping up everywhere. Here at Fabulously Flawless, we use the word “technicians” very loosely because so many people performing permanent makeup are unlicensed and uncertified. Many have very little experience or hands-on classroom training. Frighteningly, we see clients on a weekly basis that drive from as far away as Tennessee, Virginia, and South Carolina to have their botched permanent makeup corrected and sometimes even removed. Before you choose a technician, MAKE SURE they are Certified Permanent Cosmetics Professionals and have certifications in micropigmentation as well as advanced training in permanent eyeshadow. Make sure they are licensed to perform these procedures. Check reviews and references and ask for their portfolio of work. It’s also a good idea to ask how many clients they have performed any given procedure on.

So remember, tattooing eyeshadow is a highly advanced form of permanent makeup and should never be attempted by someone who is not certified in this technique. In addition to proper training, the Professional Cosmetic Technician must use the right machine and needles set at a very low speed. Never allow a regular tattoo artist to perform any permanent makeup procedure, either. Don’t take chances with your beauty or health. Be sure to do your research before you undergo any procedure.

Let Your Eyes Do The Talking

Let Your Eyes Do The Talking

Believe it or not, our facial expressions play a significant part in our nonverbal communication with one another. We often rely on a smile, a frown, or a crinkle of a nose to gather information about a person’s thoughts or feelings. However, these days we are all rocking our fashionable face masks to keep ourselves and others safe, essentially covering the entire lower portion of our faces and rendering us incapable of reading each other’s full facial expressions. That leaves us with only being able to read eyes and eyebrow ques. The good news is, we communicate most of our thoughts and emotions with our eyes, enabling us to decipher each other’s thoughts and feelings more accurately than our other facial expressions.

With more attention being drawn to our eyes, many of us enjoyed a little creativity during the mandatory stay at home orders, and got more playful with pops of fun eyeshadow colors, trying different liner techniques, and even reshaping our brows a bit. For many of us now, life has become very hectic these days. Whether we are working from home, overseeing our children’s online education, making those curbside grocery pickups, and cleaning and sanitizing everything from top to bottom, we all have a lot going on. So, finding the time to “put on our eyes” every morning is has become more challenging.

On average, women spend 10-30 minutes putting on their makeup daily and spend around $3,500 per year on cosmetics. And that is on makeup alone. Add in the cost of skincare, hair products, facials, injectables, and other beauty regimens, and you are looking at a hefty price tag and a good chunk of time spent daily to look your best.

Many of my clients come to me, specifically seeking the time-saving benefits of permanent cosmetics, not realizing there is also the added benefit of substantial long term cost savings. And these days, we could all do with a little more time and a little fewer expenses.

If you want to enhance your look and have one less thing to worry about every day, permanent eyebrows, eyeliner, and eyeshadow could be the perfect option for you. And, if you are looking for eyelash enhancement, we offer that too. So, no matter what life is like for you right now – whether you are going in to work, Zooming, or just FaceTiming with friends, your eyes are essential communication devices that you can’t ignore.
