Join Us In The Fight Against Breast Cancer

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Fabulously Flawless wants to help bring awareness and support to those who are touched by this disease.

Each year it is estimated that over 252,710 women in the United States are diagnosed with breast cancer, more than 40,500 will die, and 1 in eight women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women and is the second leading cause of cancer death among women.

At Fabulously Flawless we have had the privilege of being able to make many women feel whole and beautiful again after having a mastectomy due to breast cancer with areola restoration and scar camouflage procedures. We revel in the knowledge that we can make these women feel beautiful and confident after their battle with breast cancer.

Though new research, treatments, and education have helped many people against this fight with breast cancer, there is much more work to be done to eradicate this disease.

As supporters of the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Fabulously Flawless will be donating 25% of our proceeds from all areola restoration, scar camouflage, and hair follicle replication procedures during October to the organization. Contact us to make your appointment and help us fight breast cancer.

September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month

You may know that September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. But did you know that Ovarian Cancer is the #5 cause of cancer-related deaths in women? According to the American Cancer Society, 1 in 75 women will develop Ovarian Cancer in her lifetime.

At Fabulously Flawless we are strong advocates for spreading awareness about Ovarian Cancer, and passionate about the health and well-being of women. We have had the honor of meeting many cancer survivors, and we have seen first hand the devastating effects it can have on their mind, body, and spirit.

We have also had the honor of being able to make these women feel whole and beautiful again when they struggle with hair loss from Chemotherapy and scars from surgery.

Whether we help women to feel beautiful again by creating eyebrows, providing them with hair follicle replication for thinning hair, or scar camouflage and skin repigmentation procedures to help erase scars with from surgery, we love being able to give women and their confidence back through these enhancements.

In our effort to support Ovarian Cancer awareness, research, and education Fabulously Flawless will be donating 25% of our proceeds from all hair follicle replication, eyebrow creation, scar camo, and skin repigmentation procedures to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance during the month of September. Contact us today to make your appointment.

OVARIAN CANCER FACTS

Ovarian cancer is the deadliest of all gynecologic cancers and the eleventh most common cancer among women. There is no early detection test for ovarian cancer, and its symptoms can be subtle, leading many women to be diagnosed at later stages of the disease when survival rates are poor. This year approximately 22,000 women in the United States will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer, and more than 14,000 women will die from the disease. This problem is not going away: as the American population ages, the incidence of ovarian cancer is expected to double by 2050. Help spread the word about Ovarian Cancer. What you pass on might save your life or someone else you know.
