Let Your Eyes Do The Talking

Let Your Eyes Do The Talking

Believe it or not, our facial expressions play a significant part in our nonverbal communication with one another. We often rely on a smile, a frown, or a crinkle of a nose to gather information about a person’s thoughts or feelings. However, these days we are all rocking our fashionable face masks to keep ourselves and others safe, essentially covering the entire lower portion of our faces and rendering us incapable of reading each other’s full facial expressions. That leaves us with only being able to read eyes and eyebrow ques. The good news is, we communicate most of our thoughts and emotions with our eyes, enabling us to decipher each other’s thoughts and feelings more accurately than our other facial expressions.

With more attention being drawn to our eyes, many of us enjoyed a little creativity during the mandatory stay at home orders, and got more playful with pops of fun eyeshadow colors, trying different liner techniques, and even reshaping our brows a bit. For many of us now, life has become very hectic these days. Whether we are working from home, overseeing our children’s online education, making those curbside grocery pickups, and cleaning and sanitizing everything from top to bottom, we all have a lot going on. So, finding the time to “put on our eyes” every morning is has become more challenging.

On average, women spend 10-30 minutes putting on their makeup daily and spend around $3,500 per year on cosmetics. And that is on makeup alone. Add in the cost of skincare, hair products, facials, injectables, and other beauty regimens, and you are looking at a hefty price tag and a good chunk of time spent daily to look your best.

Many of my clients come to me, specifically seeking the time-saving benefits of permanent cosmetics, not realizing there is also the added benefit of substantial long term cost savings. And these days, we could all do with a little more time and a little fewer expenses.

If you want to enhance your look and have one less thing to worry about every day, permanent eyebrows, eyeliner, and eyeshadow could be the perfect option for you. And, if you are looking for eyelash enhancement, we offer that too. So, no matter what life is like for you right now – whether you are going in to work, Zooming, or just FaceTiming with friends, your eyes are essential communication devices that you can’t ignore.

I want to invite you to set up a free consultation time to see how permanent cosmetics can benefit you and your lifestyle.

Permanent Eyeliner – Everything You Need to Know

Permanent eyeliner helps frame your eyes and provides one less step to applying makeup daily. We use a dark color (black or brown), and it is applied between the lashes and above to create beautiful, soft-shaded eyeliner. Your eyes will look bigger, your lashes thicker, and your eye color naturally enhanced. We use the latest state-of-the-art equipment and highest-grade pigments for all of our procedures. We offer four different pigment brands, each with their own specialized line of shades and formulation to be used for the specific area being tattooed. That means that the pigment colors we use to create your signature eyeliner color and look have been specially formulated for eyeliner tattooing only. This ensures you receive the best-looking and longest-lasting permanent makeup results.

Top Eyeliner
This method creates a line above the last row of eyelashes (on the upper lid) to add depth to the eyes. The width of the line can be thin, medium, or thick. Each full eyeliner procedure includes an eyelash base enhancement to complete the look. Designer eyeliner can also be created by adding a layer of color(s) for a “smudged” effect. Perhaps you may desire a corner enhancement, such as a wing? We specialize in creating your signature look! Fabulously Flawless offers an Eyelash Base Enhancement method for people who want an extremely natural look. The pigment is tattooed only on the skin at the base of eyelashes in-between their rows. No obvious line is drawn beyond the last row of lashes. This causes the eyelash base to appear darker and fuller and frames the eye without the look of having eyeliner. Men choose this procedure to add definition to their eyes without looking like they are wearing makeup. Read more about what to expect on our Pre-Procedure page.

Bottom Eyeliner
This method creates a line below the last row (lower lid) to add depth to the eyes. The width of the line can be thin, medium, or thick. Each full eyeliner procedure includes an eyelash base enhancement to complete the look. Designer eyeliner can also be created by adding a layer of color(s) or a “smudged” effect.
