October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Fabulously Flawless wants to help bring awareness and support to those who are touched by this disease.
Each year it is estimated that over 246,660 women in the United States are diagnosed with breast cancer, more than 40,000 will die, and 1 in eight women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women and is the second leading cause of cancer death among women.
At Fabulously Flawless we have had the privilege of being able to make many women feel whole and beautiful again after having a mastectomy due to breast cancer with areola restoration and scar camouflage procedures. We revel in the knowledge that we can make these women feel beautiful and confident after their battle with breast cancer.
Though new research, treatments, and education have helped many people against this fight with breast cancer, there is much more work to be done to eradicate this disease.
As supporters of the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Fabulously Flawless will be donating 25% of our proceeds from all areola restoration, scar camouflage, and hair follicle replication procedures during October to the organization.
