EYELINER AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS

UNTIL YOUR EYELINER HAS HEALED . . .

DO NOT 

• Rub your eyes or use anything abrasive on your eyes, such as a washcloth.
• Wear contact lenses for 3 days.
• Wear any eye makeup, and use eyelash curlers or mascara for 7 days. Make sure you use new mascara afterward to avoid infection.
• Avoid using lash growth stimulants such as Latisse, RapidLash, or RevitaLash for at least 2 weeks after both your initial and follow-up procedures.
• Expose your eyes to direct sunlight or tanning beds.
• Submerge your eyes in the water, such as pools, and hot tubs, or allow them to become overly wet while showering.
• Avoid sweating, long hot showers, steam rooms, saunas, and exercise.

DO

• Only use moisturizing and healing products given to you by Fabulously Flawless Permanent Cosmetics.
• Shower with your back to the water to avoid water, shampoo, and conditioner from getting into the pigmented area.
• Wear a hat when in the sun.
• Blot your lids gently with a tissue if they are itchy or watery.
• Call Fabulously Flawless if you develop an infection or have any concerns.

EYELINER AFTERCARE SCHEDULE

FIRST HOUR: Pat your eyes gently with a clean tissue repeatedly.

DAY 1: Apply an ice bag for the first few hours. Ten minutes on and ten minutes off, following the procedure as needed.

DAYS 1-3: Using a cotton swab, on Day 1, you will need to apply a layer of  AFTER INKED Tattoo Aftercare Lotion to the pigmented area 4 times a day. Repeat on days 2-3, and add a thin layer of A&D ointment on top of the AFTER INKED.

DAYS 1-7: Gently rinse your eyes with clean hands by patting water on them. Do not use a washcloth or rub them. 

THE HEALING PROCESS – WHAT TO EXPECT

It is normal to experience puffy eyes and eyelids, light bruising near eyelids, puffiness, or red and irritated eyes.

If your eyes are slightly puffy for the first few mornings, place thinly sliced cucumbers or an ice bag on the eyelids on the 2nd day for a few minutes in the morning. Also, sleeping slightly propped up on your back will help if you have a tendency to swell.

Your eyelashes may stick together when you wake up. If this happens, rinse your eyes with provided eye drops daily for 5 days. If eyelashes continue to stick together, contact Fabulously Flawless Permanent Cosmetics to obtain more eye drops.

Do not be alarmed by fading of the pigment color after the first application. The final color cannot be judged until 3 weeks after touch-up applications.

LIP SHADING AND LIP LINER AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS:

UNTIL YOUR LIPS HAVE HEALED . . .

DO NOT 

• Wipe or use anything abrasive on your lips, such as a washcloth or napkin. Only blot lips if necessary while eating, etc.
• Use lipstick, lip gloss, petroleum jelly, lip balm, Ambesol, Retin-A, or facial cleansers on your lips, or get any dermal skin injectables. Only use aftercare products provided to you by Fabulously Flawless.
  
• Pick, scratch, rub, nibble, or remove any peeling skin on your lips.
• Expose your lips to direct sunlight or tanning beds.
• Submerge your lips in water, such as pools and hot tubs, or let them become overly wet while showering.
• Avoid sweating, long hot showers, steam rooms, saunas, and exercise.

DO

• Only use moisturizing and healing products given to you by Fabulously Flawless Permanent Cosmetics.
• Shower with your back to the water to avoid water, shampoo, and conditioner from getting into the pigmented area.
• Wear a hat when in the sun.
• Keep your lips moist for at least 3 weeks.
• Call Fabulously Flawless if you develop an infection, cold sores, or have any concerns.

LIP AFTERCARE SCHEDULE

FIRST HOUR: Pat your lips gently with a clean tissue repeatedly.

HOURS 1-3: No smoking

WEEKS 1-3: Keep your lips moist for up to 3 weeks, reapplying Numb-Stick Anesthetic and Moisturizer every hour. Add a thin layer of A&D ointment to add moisture 4 times daily.

DAYS 1-7: Use your fingertips to gently wash the area with mild soap and water, morning and night. 

THE HEALING PROCESS – WHAT TO EXPECT

As your lips heal, some peeling may occur. Be sure not to rub or peel off the skin. Do not wipe your lips with a napkin while eating; blot instead.

Lips tend to fade up to 60% after the first procedure. It is recommended that you do not drink through a straw while your lips are healing.

If you are prone to developing cold sores on the lip area, call your doctor for a Valtrex prescription. Do not put medicated ointments on the lip area. You may use emu oil on cold sores, but please verify this with Fabulously Flawless Permanent Cosmetics prior to doing so.

EYEBROW AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS

UNTIL YOUR EYEBROWS HAVE HEALED . . .

DO NOT 

• Use anything abrasive on your brows, such as a washcloth or loofah sponge.
• Use sunscreen, Retin-A, lotions, tanning creams, antibiotic ointment, or other facial products and harsh chemicals on your brows.
• Wear any eye makeup for at least 7 days.
• Pick, scratch, rub or remove any flaking skin on your brows.
• Expose your eyes to direct sunlight or tanning beds.
• Submerge your eyes in water, such as pools and hot tubs, or let them become overly wet while showering.
• Avoid sweating, long hot showers, steam rooms, saunas, and exercise.

DO

• Only use moisturizing and healing products given to you by Fabulously Flawless Permanent Cosmetics on your brows.
• Shower with your back to the water to avoid water, shampoo, and conditioner from getting into the pigmented area.
• Wear a hat when in the sun.

EYEBROW AFTERCARE SCHEDULE

THE HEALING PROCESS – WHAT TO EXPECT

As the skin begins to heal, the brows may become itchy or begin to crust. This is part of the normal healing process, and your skin is healing properly. It is important that you do not scratch, rub, pick, or wash any scabs, flaking skin, or dry areas where your tattoo is. Doing so may result in pigment loss.

Ensure that your brows stay moisturized using the products provided to you by Fabulously Flawless. This will help to reduce the itching sensation. If you have the urge to scratch, use a tissue or cotton swab and lightly pat the area. Ensure you do not wipe off all moisturizing products in doing this. 

Do not be alarmed by fading of the pigment color after the first application. The final color cannot be judged until 3 weeks after touch-up applications.

HAIR FOLLICLE/SCALP MICROPIGMENTATION AFTERCARE:

• Be sure to follow the complete aftercare instructions provided by your Permanent Cosmetic Professional after your treatment.
• Wash your scalp with a mild soap such as Cetaphil or baby shampoo and apply the cream given to you twice a day. Once in the morning and once in the evening for 3 days.
• Refrain from exercise or excessive sweating for 7 days post-treatment.
• Always apply sunscreen daily to maintain.
• Minoxidil must be stopped for 10 days after your procedure.

AVOID THE FOLLOWING FOR 3 WEEKS AFTER TREATMENT:

• Prolonged exposure to the sun
• Swimming, hot tubs, saunas, tanning beds
• AHA, BHA, Vitamin C, or any other acidic skin care products over the area

AREOLA PARAMEDICAL TATTOOING RESTORATION AFTERCARE:

You must follow specific steps for one week after each areola tattooing session. We will give you an aftercare kit with medical-grade supplies and detailed instructions. Although you will not need to take time off from work, you should keep your recovery period and aftercare in mind when scheduling your procedure appointments around work, social, or travel plans.

AVOID THE FOLLOWING FOR 3 WEEKS AFTER TREATMENT:

• Prolonged exposure to the sun
• Swimming, hot tubs, saunas, tanning beds
• AHA, BHA, Vitamin C, or any other acidic skin care products over the area

TATTOO FADING AND REMOVAL AFTERCARE:

A scab will form and must remain intact until it falls off naturally. If the scab is removed prematurely, it may affect the outcome of the procedure. Until the scab exfoliates naturally, we recommend an appropriate bandage on areas of the body where clothing contact is unavoidable. Do not soak the scab in water; bathing can be conducted as normal, but do not scrub or vigorously wipe the scab to dry. Not touching or picking up the area after treatment is very important. The scab must exfoliate naturally. After the scab exfoliates, you must apply the moisturizing cream your provider gives you.

TATTOO FADING AND REMOVAL AFTERCARE FOR LIPS:

AVOID THE FOLLOWING FOR 3 WEEKS AFTER TREATMENT:

• Prolonged exposure to the sun
• Swimming, hot tubs, saunas, tanning beds
• AHA, BHA, Vitamin C, or any other acidic skin care products over the area

SCAR CAMOUFLAGE AFTERCARE:

AVOID THE FOLLOWING AFTER TREATMENT:

• Wipe or rub the area.
• Pick, scratch, rub or remove any flaking skin on the area.
• Apply any makeup to the area for at least 7 days.
• Directly wet or soak the tattooed area for 7 days.
• Shave the area until healed.
• Sunbathe, use sun beds or solariums for 4 weeks.
• Swim in chlorinated pools or hot tubs for 4 weeks,  as it  may fade or alter the color
• Use AHA, BHA, Vitamin C, or any other acidic skincare products over the area as they will fade or alter the color  of the tattoo.
• Avoid sweating, long hot showers, steam rooms, saunas, and exercise.

REJUVAPEN AFTER-CARE:

Be certain to adhere to the following post-treatment instructions provided to you by your Permanent Cosmetic Professional.

It is recommended that you use the Rejuvapen Post Treatment Kit for 72 hours for best results.

• Clean: Use a gentle cleanse and tepid water to cleanse the face for the following 72 hours and gently dry the treated skin. Always make sure that your hands are clean when touching the treated area.
• Heal: Serum antioxidants are recommended post-treatment as the properties are ideal to help heal the skin. These products can help soothe the skin and lessen irritation.
• Hydrate: Following your Rejuvapen treatment, your skin may feel drier than normal. Hyaluronic Acid is an ideal ingredient to hydrate and restore the skin back to perfect balance.
• Stimulate: In the days following your Rejuvapen treatment, and as the skin starts to regenerate, collagen stimulating peptides are ideal to continue the stimulation.
• Makeup: It is recommended that makeup should not be applied for 24 to 72 hours after the procedure. Do not apply any makeup with a makeup brush, especially if it is not clean.
• Protect: Immediately after the procedure, apply a broad spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen.

AVOID THE FOLLOWING FOR 3-7 DAYS AFTER TREATMENT:

• Exposure to sun, retinols, and glycolics
